The Smoochy app is completely free to use. There are no hidden costs, add ons or subscriptions. Smoochy doesn’t take any payment or card details. All users can message anyone, control their inbox, send and receive messages at no cost.

Once an account is created, and you have accepted the terms and conditions, you can send messages to anyone. But you only get one chance. You will not be able to re message them, unless they respond.

You will be able to control the messages you receive and filter them according to your preferences. They will all end up in the waiting box. You will be able to then filter them to the messages from people you want to receive and read. They will only know you have read it, if you reply and it will go into your inbox. You can only message someone once. And then proceed to chat only if they respond.

You can block any user at any time. They will then go into your block list.

You can do this by using the online form, stating the user and the issue. We will then look into this and act accordingly in line with Smoochy rules, terms and conditions of use. Safety is of paramount for Smoochy and its users.

Whilst we cannot control everything a user does or say, unless they break Smoochy rules, terms and conditions, we have stringent safety procedures in place. 1) To create an account we require BOTH your email and contact number. 2) You will need to verify yourself via a text message with a code through our third party company: Twilio. 2) Strict rules, terms and conditions must be accepted

We can remove your account for breaking Smoochy rules, terms or conditions. However, you can appeal our decision to remove your account and we will consider your request and act reasonably. But ultimately our decision is at our sole discretion and is final. So if you have breached any of our terms or rules, you won’t be allowed to use the app.

You can turn off push notifications. Push notifications only apply for the inbox. Messages in the waiting section will have a notification dot.
